Afraid of change
All too quickly, yet another week has passed
In the next week we will be having two holidays which might not be very appealing since we all ought to get the last week of the school year to spend fully with our friends.
But that'll be quite stupid, some may think, cause we've got the whole year to ourselves and you only start really treasuring them a week before term ends. Undoubtly true but then I remember that I don't really have a reason to be afraid.
Being an old girl, I am lucky that I have been admitted into the secondary section with most of my previous schoolmates to the secondary section. Almost everywhere around the school, majority are familiar faces, whether my current classmates, previous classmates, or just previous schoolmates. And in the following years, there would be bound to be previous classmates that I'll be in the same class with. So what's there to be so afraid about?
On Tuesday, we will be having our Literature (Mini) Drama Presentation.
The class may not be fully prepared but that's okay.
And on Thursday, I will be turning thirteen. Officially, no more child fares (though I can easily get away with it) for me. It happens to fall on a school holiday so I should be happy. I used to always get those one-day-away-from-holiday years. Like last year, it was Hari Raya on the 24th. On another of the years, school closed on 26th. At least it beats being in the primary section (during our time, that is) when we used to always get the Chinese exam on my birthday.
Half an hour more tuition, I should be going.
